As many of you know, after thinking about it for many years, we are now homeschooling the girls. With homeschooling being a more popular choice in Texas, there are lots of groups, activities and programs available to us.
Meg just started going to an enrichment program twice a week and this past Friday was her first day of class. She goes to school from 9:00 - 2:00 and takes classes in Spanish, art, P.E., bible, music, history and does science experiments. It's a great program. Jenna is on the waiting list and we're hoping that she will be able to start soon. In the meantime, I'm enjoying some one-on-one time with her when Meg is gone. I really feel like we're living the "best of both worlds" with this new schooling situation and we're all enjoying it.
Here are a few pics of Megan on her first day of school. PLEASE NOTE: The teacher said that the kids had to wear sneakers on the first day. Apparently, the teacher is into function over fashion.....whatever. Anyway, most of you know that we are very fond of shoes in this house and have a wide variety to choose from. If it were not for the specific request for sneakers, I assure you, Meg would have had on a more stylish pair of shoes that matched her outfit.
It's hard to see the detail, but here she is walking in with her super chic, pink, leopard print backpack.......love it!
