It's hard to believe, but we went to the pool (yes, outdoors) for the first time today and it's only May 10th. Growing up in New York, we didn't go swimming outside until late June usually. In Tennessee, we went around Memorial Day. This is definitely the earliest we've ever been able to hit the water. I should say Steve and the girls hit the water. I didn't even put my suit on even though it was about 90 degrees outside. I felt the water the other day and it was absolutely freezing and felt like a bowl of ice water a little bit too chilly for my skin. The girls were soooooo excited. Honestly, the water could have been 50 degrees and they would have enjoyed it. Here are some pics of their fun in the sun.............
